Motogrounds Importer Privacy
Effective October 17, 2026. How the Motogrounds Importer browser extension handles data.
Motogrounds Importer is a browser extension for Motogrounds administrators. It imports motorcycle listings from Facebook Marketplace and dealership websites into the Motogrounds admin, and checks whether listings that were imported are still for sale. It is only useful with a Motogrounds admin account.
What it reads
- The listing page you choose, When you click Preview, Send or Check in the extension, it reads that page: the title, price, description, location, specifications and photos of the listing.
- Listings you already imported, When availability checks run (by you, or once a day if you turn that on), it opens or loads the original listing pages of listings already on Motogrounds to see if they are still for sale.
- Dealer sites, only if you allow it, Access to dealer websites is optional and is asked for once, from the extension. Without it, dealer checks run on the Motogrounds server.
What it sends, and where
Listing details and photos you import, and the result of availability checks (still for sale or not), are sent only to Motogrounds servers, so they appear in your Motogrounds admin. Nothing is sent to anyone else, and nothing is sold or shared for advertising.
What it stores in your browser
- Its connection key, created in the Motogrounds admin when you click Connect, so it can save to your account
- Your settings (for example whether daily checks are on) and a short history of recent checks
You can disconnect from the extension at any time, and revoke the key in the Motogrounds admin (Settings, Integrations, API keys). Removing the extension deletes what it stored.
What it never collects
It does not read your browsing history, messages, passwords or payment details, does not track the sites you visit, and does not run on pages other than the ones described above.
